Got nasty household waste lingering around the house?  Don't put it in your trash!  You can dispose your hazardous materials properly through a service provided by the St. Joseph County Solid Waste District (SJCSWD).  

 

The City of Mishawaka operates a household hazardous waste disposal center facility located at 1105 E. Fifth St.  [Note: In mid-2017 the city announced plans to upgrade to a larger site.  Contact them for new location details.]  It is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and is open to all St. Joseph County residents.
